ADVENTURE SUMMARY
Simply A Fan is excited to offer customer’s of Shep’s Cards & Collectibles an exclusive opportunity to see the Savannah Bananas in Louisville on Saturday, August 3rd at Louisville Slugger Field! The game has been sold out for months via the Bananas lottery system, but thanks to a collaboration between Shep’s and Simply A Fan, we are fortunate to have a group block of tickets available.
You are purchasing more than just a ticket, you are purchasing an adventure that will be an incredible and memorable experience for you and your family or friends! The Bananas have sold out every home game since their inception in 2016 and every game on their Banana Ball World Tour since 2021.
FOR SALE: THE SINGLE BANANA
The single banana package is $68. It includes the following:
– your game ticket
– chance to request to sit with other families and friends
– a custom designed commemorative ticket
– a name tag/lanyard that will identify you as part of our exclusive group,
– a Simply A Fan sticker decal
– a chance to win a Banana Bundle worth $150 value
– access to courtesy hotel block at Home2 Suites by Hilton that is less than half mile from the ballpark
– option to add-on a ticket for a 2pm tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum with our group ($22)
– there are no taxes and no hidden fees, the price you see is the price you pay!
In addition to all the above, by purchasing through Simply A Fan your support helps us surprise a local special family the week of the game who otherwise would not be going to the game. In the past we have partnered with Make-A-Wish chapters in Tampa and Boston, along with Special Olympics in Indiana.
SEAT LOCATIONS
Our group will be seated together in reserved assigned seating. We will not receive our assigned seats from the Bananas until 10-14 days before the game. Putting a seating chart together for 200 is a fun massive jigsaw puzzle, and although there are no guarantees, if you want to be seated with another party please put that on the form when you checkout.
TICKETS
Tickets are electronic and will be transferred to you via the email you provide when you check out. The tickets are not automatically sent – I have to manually send each party’s separately. You will receive them at least one week in advance if not sooner. You will need to create an account with the Bananas Fans First ticketing system in order to accept, which is where the tickets will be stored. They will be activated 24 hours before the game by the Bananas. There is not an option to print out a ticket. If you have any trouble accepting or accessing your tickets, please contact me markjent@simplyafan.com or 615.579.5217 as I can walk you through any hiccups you might have.
COURTESY HOTEL BLOCK
We have secured a courtesy hotel block at the Home2 Suites by Hilton that is less than a 1/2 mile from the ballpark. The rooms available are a King Studio Suite with a sleeper sofa. The courtesy hotel rate of $169 plus tax, please indicate that on your registration form. You will receive a booking link where you can book directly through the hotel. Limited availability. To opt in, you will have the option to indicate this on your registration form.
LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM
We have reserved a group block for the 2 p.m. tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum. This is an add-on costs of $22 each that you will be invoiced for separately. To opt in, you will have the option to indicate this on your registration form.
BANANA BUNDLE GIVEAWAY
For every ticket you purchase, you will be given that many chances to win this Bananas Bundle full of potassium packed merch that is a $150 value! This is a perk for purchasing your package through Simply A Fan and supporting our family’s small business. It includes the following items:
– a Bananas exclusive dri-fit shirt, “The Greatest Show in Sports.” It was released in the spring and sold for a limited time only online (sizes currently limited to XL and XXL)

PREVIOUS BANANAS ADVENTURES
For most of you reading this and considering jumping aboard, I realize this is the first time you’ve heard of Simply A Fan and you may be asking, “What, how is this possible? The game is sold out! Is this for real though?”
Those are great questions that I would be asking myself if I were you! My hope is that below you will see the breadth and depth of our portfolio having taken fans to see Banana Ball across the country in 2023 and 2024. In addition to the Bananas you can browse our social media outlets to see that we do so much more including MLB, MLS, NFL, NBA and even a Dude Perfect live show! Since we launched in 2018 we have taken over 4,000 fans to 36 venues across the country and 115 games/events.
Simply A Fan’s first adventure to take fans to a Bananas game was June 2023 in Nashville when we had a record turnout of over 400 fans. It was our largest fanbase at a game in our five year history. Here is a link where you can read about that adventure: Potassium Level 436.

TICKET CONDITIONS
Knowing that some of you may want to bring your baseball team or family group, there is a max limit of 10 tickets per transaction. If your situation warrants more, please contact me. When buying tickets please read our Absolute No Resale Policy in the Terms and Conditions, per our agreement with the Bananas.
Who Are The Savannah Bananas
That is a great question! In recent years the Savannah Bananas have become a world-wide sensation known for their unique and entertaining style of play called Banana Ball. Based out of Savannah, Georgia, Banana Ball is a fast-paced and fan-focused version of baseball that aims to create a fun and interactive experience for spectators.
The game features various rules, such as no bunting, no walks, and a time limit on innings, all which keeps the game moving quickly. Check out the rules of Banana Ball here! The Bananas also incorporate exciting entertainment elements into their games, including dancing players and umpires, hilarious on-field promotions, and lively music.
