Camden Yards – Baltimore
Nationals Park – Washington D.C.
Citizens Bank Park – Philadelphia
Three games, three parks in three days by plane, train and automobile. This was Epic East! New ballparks for everyone in the group, we made it more than a baseball trip as we took in plenty of sights each stop along the way.
We flew Nashville to Baltimore on Thursday for day one of the journey. That afternoon we did a behind-the-scenes tour of Camden Yards and the Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum. Our core four was joined by six others in Baltimore for the Dodgers-Orioles game as we sat with a massive contingent of Dodger fans from Pantone 294. On Friday we visited Washington D.C. to take in stops at Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the White House, Ford’s Theater and more. That evening was Anthony Rendon Bobblehead Night as the Nats took on the Braves in an N.L. East showdown. On Saturday we boarded a train for Philly where we stopped by the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, ending our tour at Citizens Bank Park that night.
